Exide Life Insurance - Senior Manager - Actuarial

Position Summary

The role requires the individual to be responsible primarily for the calculation of Embedded Value and Value of New Business. Also, assist in the calculation of Economic Capital, Risk measures like Earnings at Risk, Regulatory Capital at Risk and Business Planning.

Key Accountabilities

- Ensures that tools for valuation and related analyses are implemented and maintained in accordance with established standards and assumptions.

- Ensures that all data, assumptions, etc. submitted for analyses are consistent and accurate.

- Calculates MCEV along with movement quarter on quarter and month on month.

- Conducts financial projections for planning purposes

- Compute MCVNB monthly. Also produce quarterly MCVNB numbers along with quarter on quarter movement.

- Assists in the calculation of Economic Capital and Risk measures, like Earnings at Risk and Regulatory Capital at Risk.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

Actuarial student at least 4-6 years of actuarial work experience and 7-10 papers passed.

- Strong technical skills and understanding of key aspects of actuarial, investment and financial disciplines

- Experience in Pricing, Valuation, Modeling with life insurance

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Good Knowledge of Prophet (Actuarial Software)

- Good knowledge of Excel including VBA programming
