Position Title : DGM/GM/VP - Marketing - Brand & Corporate Communication  Business Unit : Marketing  Reporting To : Director - Marketing  No Of Reportees : 5 - 6 (Direct Reportee)  Location : Head Office, Bangalore  Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish) :   The incumbent would play a key role in managing and strengthening Brand Exide Life Insurance Brand through effective external and internal communications.  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned) :   Brand Management and Communications :  - Manage and strengthen Brand - Exide Life Insurance in the Indian Life Insurance market.  - Manage existing celebrity endorsement and linked activities.  - Design and implement mass media campaigns using traditional and new media for Exide Life Insurance mother brand and products.  - Work on a multi-media mix that ensures maximum reach and optimum frequency.  - Create as well as implement product positioning and associated marketing collaterals for all products offered by Exide Life Insurance.  - Translate complex insurance communication into easy to understand product oriented communication.  - Ensure consistent implementation and maintenance of Exide Life Insurance Logo & Brand Template.  - Track and update brand performance of Exide Life Insurance Vis as Vis competition.   - Implement and manage multiple types of research in the market to generate consumer insights, track trends, monitor brand performance, test concepts. Translate research outcomes into business benefits.  Corporate Communications (Media Relations and Internal Communications) :  - Plan and execute successful PR programs. Use PR and effective media relations to increase Brand Recall  - Interact with senior leadership of the company to create and maintain company's communication strategy  - Manage all communication to Media on key announcements and launches   - Development and delivery of a scalable internal communications strategy to provide timely communications to all levels of the organization  - Identify and implement different tools and channels for effective internal communication for example - intranet, emailers, etc.  Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position) :   - 10-12 years of work experience in Marketing Communications   - Proficiency in English   - Experience in financial services will be an added advantage  - Experience in developing & executing Brand campaigns  - Experience in managing Internal and PR communications  Personal Attributes & Competencies  - High on energy with positive outlook  - Team player with ability to network across the organization  Performance Measures (The quantitative measures of the job's overall responsibility) :  - No of successful product launch initiatives.  - Brand health performance.  - Go to market - TATs for all initiatives.  - No of sales enquiries linked with effectiveness of communication.  - Employee Engagement  - Media visibility - Volume and Ranking in life insurance space  Person Profile (for the Ideal candidate) :   Base Location : Bangalore, or willing to relocate to Bangalore  Age (Min to Max) : 32-40 years  Experience (Min to Max) : 10-12 years  Specific Qualification Requirement, If any : MBA/ PG in Mass Communication   Industry Preference (Insurance, Telecom, BFSI) : Life Insurance, BFSI   Specific Skill Sets and Weight age assigned to various skill sets : NA  Position reports into Director - Marketing  Direct Reports to the position : NA  % Travel Required in this Position : NA  Any other specific requirements/ preferences : NA
