Project Description : Department Equity Research  Nature of Job : Permanent  Location : Gurgaon  Job Title : Senior Research Associate/Research Lead  Reporting To : Manager/Group Manager  Job Family Advanced Research  Job description:  Support Equity Research Analyst of a global investment bank in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies  Track news, events, and results of the companies under coverage  Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry  Build and maintain databases tracking key macroeconomic indicators/industry KPIs  Work on Financial Models update historical numbers, build projections, and carry out valuation  Listen to and summarize investment conference calls  Assist the Lead Analyst in preparation of company profiles, newsletters, flash notes, earning notes, initiating coverage reports, etc.  Develop roadshow presentations  Handle ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements  Skill Set Required:  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Strong understanding of accounting concepts and ability to conduct financial analysis   Understanding of valuation methodologies  Good financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company description)  Well versed in building financial models with forecasting  Ability to build client relations  Ability to work independently Knowledge of database tools, including Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial data systems  Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros will be an added advantage  Education and experience: Must hold an MBA (Finance) degree/CA qualification; CFA (US) would be an added advantage   Experience: 3-5 years for SRA and 5-7 years for RL  Compensation: To be decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry
