We are looking for ESG Research professional at Manager Level.  Below are the details for the position.  Job description :   Evalueserve's leading industry practice globally in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research/Sustainability research provides support to global ESG rating agencies, ESG index providers, SRI fund managers and industry bodies. We are looking for an exceptional professional with 5-8 years of relevant experience for the position of a Manager who is looking for an entrepreneurial role and career in the field of Sustainable Investing. The role shall give you the opportunity to interact with, learn from and work for the top names in this field.  The role requires the Manager to :  Lead, mentor and train a team of 15-20 analysts/senior analysts who :   - Collect and analyze quantitative & qualitative data from annual / sustainability / environmental / social / governance / code of conduct reports of companies.  - Collect and analyze articles / media releases from news sources on various controversies surrounding the companies  - Write structured summary / critique on ESG performance of companies  - Conduct bespoke research on emerging themes such waste, water, energy efficiency, etc.  - Contribute to ESG Relevant Newsletters, Whitepapers and Thought Pieces  - Manage client satisfaction  - Identify opportunities to provide additional solutions to the client  - Contribute towards efforts for improving efficiency in research  - Monitor market trends and opportunities  Skill Set Required :   - Good analytical ability  - Strong communication skills (written and verbal)  - Strong client servicing and commercial skills  - Effective people management ability  - Proficiency is MS office suite  - Understanding of financial services industry  - Consulting experience in ESG reporting with a Big 4 would be a plus  Education and experience :   - 5-10 years work experience in ESG Research or relevant financial services experience that includes exposure to ESG investment products will be preferred.  Compensation : To be decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry.
