Excellent opportunities for Equity Research professionals in various sectors  Equity Research Professional - Across Sectors  Job description :   - Support Equity Research Analyst of a global investment bank in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies   - Track news, events, and results of the companies under coverage   - Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry   - Build and maintain databases tracking key macroeconomic indicators/industry KPIs   - Work on Financial Models - update historical numbers, build projections, and carry out valuation   - Listen to and summarize investment conference calls   - Assist the Lead Analyst in preparation of company profiles, newsletters, flash notes, earning notes, initiating coverage reports, etc.   - Develop roadshow presentations   - Handle ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements   Skill Set Required :   - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills   - Strong understanding of accounting concepts and ability to conduct financial analysis   - Understanding of valuation methodologies   - Good financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company description)   - Well versed in building financial models with forecasting   - Ability to build client relations   - Ability to work independently Knowledge of database tools, including Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial data systems   - Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros will be an added advantage   Education and experience :   Must hold an MBA (Finance) degree/CA qualification; CFA (US) would be an added advantage   Experience: 2-5 years in Equity research.  Compensation : To be decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry
