Role Description

The ERP Manager is responsible for consulting with clients in the Automotive, Industrial, Infrastructure & Travel industry to develop ERP and Advanced Planning (SAP, etc.) based solutions.

The responsibility includes selling, designing and delivering enterprise solutions & architecture across the following areas for industry clients:

- ERP Business Processes (Any one of them)

- Order to Cash (APO-DP/SD/ WM/ CRM)

- Procure to Pay (MM/WM/SRM)

- Demand to Build (APO-SNP, PPDS/PP)

- IT solutions in the business Areas (any one/multiple)

- Supply

- Demand

- Production/Mfg

- Planning

- Product Development

- Warehousing

- Understanding of Industry solutions built around above modules/areas and industry best practices

- Deep domain and industry experience alongwith IT skills and understands the connect between business and IT

- Understanding of Application Integration with other SAP, modules

- Understanding of SAP, Network requirements and Infrastructure

The role of an ERP Manager involves:

- Leading the ERP Business Services team in and driving the growth of this area: Business Generation and team development/expansion

- Program Management for complex transformations with geographically spread out team globally

- Be a thought leader and expert in ERP Business services across various IT areas

- Identifying and developing ERP business services offerings/capabilities relevant to market and client context

- Collaborating with client team, business process architect and delivery team to drive solution architecture and ensure scalability, optimization and automation

The role also involves identifying& evaluating market & client opportunities for transforming existing business systems / IT solutions capabilities based on customer insights, business growth, cost optimization, service improvement, competitive pressure and technology development.

Candidate Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience in:

- Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating packaged solutions into a client system landscape and solution

- Designing & configuring business cum IT Solutions for the industry

- Ability to advise clients on a range of business issues and credibility to gain buy-in for solutions.

- Ability to interact with many levels of the organization from senior IT and business leaders to engineers on project teams

Desired Experience & Skills

- Holistic understanding of and experience in developing / implementing best practices

- Ability to interact with and influence Accenture management, clients and solution alliance partners

- Excellent presentation and business proposal development skills

- Inter-personal skills, Team and Project Management skills

- Prior experience of managing large, complex clients independently and handling large team

- Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines

- Relevant certification from SAP, etc.

Minimum Educational Qualification

- Business Management Degree from a reputed institution or Masters Qualification in Management of Information Systems from Tier 1 or 2 institutes

- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed institution (Engineering or IT domain)

Years of Experience

- 7+ years of relevant work experience in , Consulting, or SAP implementation
