Equity Research Professional - BFSI Sector

Your tasks:

Creating and updating financial models. Companies to be covered include stock exchanges, commodity exchanges, asset management companies, investment banks, etc.

- Analyst should also be conversant with covering the standard BFSI entities such as banks, insurance, etc.

- Financial modeling, driver-based forecasting, sensitivity analysis

- Support on deep-dive research on client-mandated topics which could be used in sector reports, thematic reports, newsletters, event notes, etc.

- Investment idea generation, thematic idea generation

Working as an extension of the client's offshore team

- Understanding client requirements and deciphering the tasks

- Preparing a task-list and maintaining a pipeline of tasks

- Proactively ideating and engaging with client

- Maintaining transparency with internal manager around capacity and taking on challenging assignments voluntarily

- Being aware about key events around the globe and the sector that the candidate will be tracking

Your profile:

- Candidate should have EQUITY RESEARCH experience in tracking BFSI sector for 2-10 years

- Focus should be on tracking investment banks, trading exchanges, asset management companies

- Modeling is an absolute must with good English skills

- Ability of idea generation, theme suggestions are necessary
