We are looking for Research Analyst (Power sector) for Broking firm in Chennai.  Exp. : 5-8 yrs  Education : MBA /CA  Please find the the job description :  Nature of work :  - Financial modeling and valuations - forecasting future earnings of the company based on historical numbers, macro and micro analysis. Performing valuation of companies under coverage with methods like DCF method, Price earning ratio and other. Conducting financial analysis on the basis of past available financial data.  - Meeting managements, industry players and channel partners for the better understanding of the companies under coverage and sector.  - Writing of reports for Institutional clients to provide deeper insight with regards to the working of the company. The report includes visit note, initiating coverage, result update, visit update, IPO note and concall update.  - Handling entire gamut of client interaction, conference calls, corporate meetings, industry visits, network building, conducting client- corporate meetings, road-shows etc  - Interacting with clients on a regular basis and keeping them updated on the latest developments in the companies under coverage and sector.  JD :  - Responsible for industry analysis, stock valuation, financial modeling, active interaction with top management.   - Advising institutional clients on investment opportunities.  - Active coverage of companies in the respective sector.  - Keep a track of latest developments of the companies under coverage/sector and incorporate the same into our research publications.  - Financial modeling and report writing which includes previews, reviews, company updates, and sector updates.
