Job Description:  Employer: An International Bank  Location: Bangalore  Designation: Equity Quants Analyst  Experience: 1 years to 4 years of work experience   Qualification: Premier B, 2010-13 batch pass out and CFA any level  Purpose of Department:  - To be a team member of the equity quants team, providing a variety of research, modeling and analytical services to onshore teams.  Job Responsibility:  - As an analyst in the quants team, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities, working independently (with minimal direction from their line manager).  - Will be required to work on weekly and monthly updates of the products created in Excel.  - Monthly as well as semi-annual updates of Macro Sensitivity Analysis tool developed by team in Germany.  - Providing charts and tables based on our proprietary data as well as some adhoc requests from clients/onshore team.  - Should have the capacity to scale up to building models as well as making changes to existing models as required by the business.  Skills/Experience Required:  - 2-4 years of experience in conducting equity quants research with clear understanding of style investments and systematic alpha research.  - Research: Proficient at quantitative modelling/analysis. Knowledge of statistical/quantitative techniques, competency to contribute to research reports an advantage. Strong knowledge of Financial ratios.  - Systems: Very strong Excel and VBA skills (required to debug codes and also write new codes).
