Epoch Elder Care - Director - Finance

Responsibilities:

Financial:

- Help the organisation achieve and maintain profitability; take complete P&L responsibility

- Set financial forecasts and put in place robust business planning, budgeting processes to track and report financial performance on a monthly basis

- Focus on improving profitability by working closely with each business function to understand and cut costs

- Monitor cash balances and forecasts

- Manage day-to-day financial tasks including making large payments to vendors and approving ad-hoc expenditure

- Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations with funders, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors.

- Advise on legal compliance and statutory requirements

- Develop financial and tax strategies

- Work closely with each line-manager at our assisted living facilities to help them understand their costs and meet financial targets

- Help create expansion plans and provide granular understanding of capital costs required to grow the business

- Help with raising funds

- Invest funds

- Standardize data collection, systems and processes relating to finance across the organization

Strategic:

- As part of the leadership team, participate in key decision making for the company.

- Work closely with the CEO on various strategic and operational initiatives to help build, organize and scale-up the operations

- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team and the board of directors

- Work cross-functionally with various teams while focusing/specializing on the core finance functions

Operational:

- Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments

- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations

- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced

- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

- Implement operational best practices

Salary range: 10 - 12 LPA
