Role : - Own the product side of our mobile applications - Interact with customers and users to understand their pain points - Take vague or idea-level inputs, and turn them into detailed requirements - Be persistent in making sure that the business requirements are clear: - Ask questions in ten different ways until you get clarity on what is best for the customer - When requirements are not clearly defined, get customer context and pain points - Be ready to model the product based on your understanding, get it reviewed, and iterate quickly - When you start detailing, fill the gaps in business requirements, based on your customer understanding - Be a bulls- t filter for low value or vanity features - Document every requirement in detail, using whichever format works best for that piece: We use spreadsheets, word docs, presentations, whiteboards, pen-paper, and detailed prototypes - Track everything - Requirements involve different people delivering different things - make sure everyone knows their priorities and deliverables - Track deliverables and checklist everything, so that even small items like icons or error texts do not delay a product release - Use (and make others use) tools like Trello, Google Docs, and Calendar, based on the need Added advantages : - Design sense - so you can give inputs on UI/UX and our design team can bounce ideas off you
