Economic Research - International Bank - Bangalore  Job Description :   Employer : An International Bank  Location : Bangalore  Employment Type : Permanent  Designation : Analyst - Economic Research  Experience : 2 to 5 years of work experience   Role Includes :   - Partnering with regional economics team to support research operations onshore  - Compiling / maintaining databases and forecast files  - Develop and maintain statistical models to forecast economic variables such as inflation, GDP, trade etc  - Contribute to regional periodicals such as chart books and economics quarterlies. Provide research assistance for larger thematic projects   - Actively collaborating with researchers from other asset classes to maintain consistency of forecasts  - Consistently generating good marketable research ideas   Skills/Experience Required :  - Masters in Economics from leading universities such as Delhi school of economics, Madras school of economics, Indian Statistical Institute, IGIDR or JNU or Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research   - 2-5 years experience in macroeconomics research; recent graduates with a good academic record are encouraged to apply  - A strong understanding of macroeconomic concepts and financial markets  - Good analytical, written and oral presentation skills  - Intermediate to advanced excel skills and familiarity with statistical packages such as E views, SPSS or STATA  - Hands on experience in creating statistical models and prior experience in covering the region will be an added plus  Education Qualification :   - MSc or PhD in Economics 2010-13 batch pass out  - Around 2-5 years of experience preferably in economic research, Macro Economic  Ashu Rajpoot 9873179522
