Position: Marketing Operations Specialist  Department: Marketing  Reporting to: Direct Marketing Manager  This position on the roles of a 3rd party  Marketing Operations Specialist  This is a fantastic opportunity in our Marketing team, responsible for operationalizing all Marketing Activities through in-house Systems and Tools   Why you should aspire for this role:  - eBay’s Marketing channels come with a combination of best international platforms and practices  - eBay is a very strong horizontal player offering more than 2000 Product categories to its consumers and hence you would gain experience in the best Merchandizing practices of a Mobile Phone as well as a Kurti at the same time  - eBay provides ample options through Job rotation and hence you can move beyond Email campaign management and learn and contribute in other areas as well  Primary Job Responsibilities:  - Database Management from CRM perspective for accurate targeting of Marketing communication   - Create & Execute SQL queries to extract segments, create dashboards & build reports  - Coordinate with various stakeholders to solicit requirements on Database segment deployment on a daily/weekly basis.  - Deployment of the same using our tools and executing the scheduling and launching activities   - End to end management of Coupon Module with accurate gearing and creating/testing coupon codes for all Coupon requirements.  - Platform Management of Email Marketing platform  - Explore new technologies, build capability of existing platform, work towards automation and platform solutions best practices  - Manage the MIs for the performance of relevant channels  Experience needed:  - Minimum 1 year of experience in any Analytics profile, preferably Marketing/ Operations Analytics in a ecommerce firm  - Analytics experience in a Shopping vertical would be an advantage  - MBA degree from a B School that has a strong merit selection criteria   - Engineering Degree will be preferred  Tools and Skillsets needed:  - Should be very strong in Mathematics with a knack to pick up Systems very quickly  - SQL/Oracle query tools knowledge is a must  - Should have worked on web based tools like GA, Ad words OR worked on ERP systems like SAP etc  - Analytics ability to build reports  - MS Excel is a must  Orientation and Personal Characteristics needed:  - High degree of responsibility and commitment to timelines  - Ambitious to learn, contribute and grow  - Immense faith and respect in data driven operations  - Creative bent of mind with a strong perspective on Image led and text led consumer communication best practices  - Strong inter personal skills to work comfortably with Marketing, Category and Product teams
