Role:HR Analyst / Specialist (Business partner)  Reports to : HR Head South Asia - PChem  Organization: Performance Chemicals (PChem) will be a new, leading industrial chemical company apart from its current parent company, DuPont, effective July, 2015. Performance Chemicals will have global leadership in titanium dioxide, fluorochemicals, fluoropolymers and selected specialty and industrial chemicals. It will be focused on serving customers who rely on these products, along with improved capability to respond to customer needs and market trends with a highly competitive asset base, product line and workforce. Performance Chemicals will have a presence in 36 countries and will serve customers in more than 90 countries around the world. The new company will supply customers from 38 manufacturing locations, which span every region of the world. The result will be a new company with the assets and presence to support the continued global operation of our businesses and to serve customers around the world  ROLE DESCRIPTION :   Main Purpose   1 Align local HR initiatives and plans with South Asia HR Head so as to optimize best practices, resources and deliverables to PChem - India   2 Provide end-to-end HR transactional support to meet business needs, assure employees of an engaging work environment and all local labor legislations are adhered to.   3 Either support or lead in AP HR projects   Special Challenges   1 Ability to interact with HR Team members outside India   2 Strong HR operations but with capability to understand and interpret business priorities   3 Expectations from HR Head, South Asia : 'can do' attitude with ownership in engaging employees so as to attract, motivate and retain employees   Major Accountabilities   1 Understand business priorities, translate them to HR implications and plan out specific HR tasks to support business / organization goals   2 Assist Manager-Employee in understanding and implementing HR policies, procedures and work practices   3 Lead HR operations in hiring, learning & development, compensation & benefits, performance mangement and employee engagement   a Establish effective working relationships with external HR interest groups to gain labor market insights, and with vendors and management consultants as strategic alliance partners   b Set-up dashboard to benchmark against best market practices, measuring effectiveness of HR programs in driving organization performance & expediture control; and self-manage productivity.   4 Assist HR Head South Asia in the implementation of an annual Employee Communication plan : frequency, content, channels and feedback-action forward.   5 Either lead or support HR AP projects   Skills & Knowledge   1 Graduation or Business Administration degree; MBA in HR from tier 1 institute preferred.   2 Proven track record of at least 5 years in HR operations as a HR Generalist in a multi-national company setting   3 Tools : proficient in IT applications / social media and use of analytics to drive HR effectiveness   4 Hands-on knowledge on performance management, learning & development, highly advantageous
