Designation : Regional Logistics Manager   Location : Mumbai   Job Role : The role is responsible for supervising logistics activities and personnel engaged in managing inwards and outwards movement of samples and reports. Ensured timely and cost effective delivery of samples to respective labs as per plan and desired service requirements. It is important for the incumbent to continuously evaluate and explore opportunities to optimize freight cost.   Job Purpose :   - Responsible for the scheduling and supervision of a Logistics Operations - ensuring timely and accurate customer service.   - Prioritize logistics activities to meet deadlines with the budgetary approvals   - Liaison and negotiate with primary and secondary transportation to drive scale efficiencies for existing and new destinations   - Ensure on-going monitoring of logistics network and coordinates with other regional logistics operation teams to ensure on-time delivery of shipments.   - Monitor and managing inherent business risks within the supply chain activities and actively work to reduce the risk to the business   - Responsible for conducting reoccurring training, i.e. safety guidelines, hazard material, safe driving etc.   - Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and training, employee performance management and disciplinary action Ensure daily/weekly performance reports are completed and communicated   - Know Policies, Procedures and SOP's for dispatchers / network monitoring specialists and communicate performance expectations and goals   - Identify newer and better opportunities to control and minimize freight costs   - Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning information and data received   Desired Skills & Experience :   Experience : 7-10 Years of experience with in depth knowledge of Logistics within Healthcare, FMCG or Retail industry.   Functional Expertise : Excellent experience in handling Liaison related matters and In Depth knowledge of Road Transportation System & Freight working etc.   Education Qualification : MBA + Graduation (Any)
