This position is for a Bangalore based organization having operations in the US, UK, Singapore and Australia. It secured a $45 million Series-A funding.
The PES group focuses on Mobile, Cloud and Social technologies to help accelerate business transformation through a smart, secure and connected experience across Enterprise Platforms, Consumer Solutions, Data center Technologies, and Internet of Things for all its clients.
Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of the strategy for PES to acquire and develop business in specific domain
- Own/track/drive the business in specific domain
- Measured based on the revenue from new & existing customers in specific domain
- Identify lead generation and market development strategies and work closely with marketing & inside sales to execute
- Work with existing clients to understand gaps in our current offerings and work with practices to incorporate these
- Study market and market trends in the domain and create solution ideas and provide inputs to practices to create these
- Defining execution methodology working with practices and delivery that covers unique aspects of the target domain
- Work with marketing team to create collaterals, campaigns and advertising.
- Participate in presales activities including ownership of proposal creation where applicable
- Be the subject matter expert in the target domain while working with all other functions.
Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of experience in a software product / services company in the Consumer Platform domain
- Strong technical background and project experience with Business Application Products and Enterprise Business Platforms (licensed/SaaS) OR Consumer Platforms (Information Portals, eCommerce, Market Places etc.)
- Customer focused with excellent communication (written and verbal) and analytical abilities. Ability to present to customers and participate in customer discussions
- Able to think creatively, explore - exploit new business opportunities
- Good to have understanding of Global project execution & delivery model.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Self starter with result orientation
- Pre-sales experience including supporting sales teams and proposal creation
- A team player
- Prior experience in product management or similar role preferred
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
- MBA from a leading business school preferred.
