Job Title : Product Development & Sourcing – Deputy Manager / Manager
Job Purpose :
- Planning, Execution & Fulfillment management of the production process of Office Supplies & Stationery Business. This includes all the processes for paper converted stationery products (Notebooks etc.).
- In addition, the person will liaise internally with stakeholders and externally with vendors, while managing the flow of information to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Production forecasting basis stock inventory levels
- Production jobs' planning, scheduling and monitoring as per business requirement
- Evaluate costs & prepare estimates for different kinds of jobs (Notebooks, Packaging Material, Print Collaterals etc.)
- Inventory planning & ensuring adequate raw material availability (Paper, Board etc.) at vendor premises.
- Plan & manage daily production and dispatches from vendor facilities
- Work proactively with vendors to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production for existing & new products.
- Purchase Order generation, material tracking and check receipts in oracle.
- Develop & maintain product specifications for business product portfolio.
- Prepare MIS reports
Qualifications :
- B.E. Printing Technology or equivalent
- 6-10 years experience in a Printing, Production or Publishing house
- Strong attention to detail and operational workflow dynamics to effectively track and analyze the status within the production & planning process
- Ability to multi-task and to execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Highly motivated and high level of initiative
- Ability to build relationships and work across a multi-product line environment
- Strong analytics and computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
- Experience of working on ERP platforms like Oracle, SAP etc.
