Deputy Manager / Manager –Marketing Exports

Opening in Automobile OEM Company;

Position - Deputy Manager / Manager –Marketing-Exports (1 for each product line LD/HD/Bus)

Role - To work in close association with Exports Sales, responsible for marketing activity related to HD/LMD/Bus in exports market.

Location - Gurgaon

Academic Qualifications - B.E. / B.E. / M.B.A.

Experience

- 6-10 Years of work experience in Sales &/or Marketing- Preferably from Automobile- CV industry. Tractor, construction equipment. Experience in sales, Product management or product planning

Job Role -

Marketing Strategy + Sales Promotion—

- Convert the CVP established by PPL into marketing strategy.

- Develop appropriate marketing initiatives for existing and new products for supporting the field team

- On a continuous basis, identify opportunities for increase in volumes & market shares and deploy suitable action.

- Market segmentation/market mapping of TIV and monitor changes in TIV prospects and customer behavior

- Drive various marketing activités - Démo, caravans, meets, exhibitions, market mapping, market expansion, usage segments etc.Development and updating of all promotional material, including sales aids, brochures, posters and other POP

- All kind of sales kits, OPECO, Product positioning-Training of DSE & ETB Sales team.

Pricing—

- Propose model wise pricing based on product cost and margin targets and CVP/Competitive benchmarking-

New Product Planning & Product launches

- Give marketing input related to customer voice/customer need, competition products/ strategy input for product plan for the HD vertical/LMD in co-ordination with Product Planning Group

- Responsible for pre & post launch activity –related to 4Ps for the responsible vertical

- Support in product clinics to analyze customer / market requirements for effective product planning

- Develop a strategic focus through business case of new products

Market intelligence-

- Continuous benchmarking of competition practices, schemes and new competitive moves, and design appropriate strategy to counter- both reactive and proactive.

- Co-ordinate & Roll out market surveys, customer feedback surveys. Analyses and presents the survey reports

- Interact with the customers , do benchmark comparisons, understand the usage pattern; operating parameters and other aspects that would help in better understanding of transport operation and identifying new product feature , specs or a new product variant to meet the customer need better.

- MR for identification of opportunities for new products in the market

Others-

- Coordinate with exports ,SPL & PPL for all day to day operational requirement of field team like- FERT codes; Non standard formats; production planning of specific product etc
