Divide by Zero (divbyz.com) is a fast growing 3D printing startup, providing high quality hardware, printing and design services and consumables.
We are seeking young and hungry (not just in a gastronomic sense) sales and marketing personnel to help drive the next phase of growth.
Role & Responsibilities
Hardware
- Identify potential institutional users and distributors of equipment
- Approach potential clients, understand requirements and build awarenes
- Negotiate effectively with users / distributors and conclude transactions
- Monitor orders effectively up to the time of fulfillment
- Post sale, act as single point of contact with clients and interface with technical team as required
Printing services:
- Proactively identify and approach users of rapid prototyping services across target end user industries
- Clearly explain rapid prototyping process, benefits and savings to potential users
- Service existing clients, serve as single point of contact. coordinating between client and back end order execution team
- Understand client specific requirements and communicate the same clearly to back end team
Other:
- Assist in developing a unified marketing strategy that syncs with overall business strategy
- Identify and assist in implementation of strategic partnerships
- Develop marketing collateral
- Create and maintain succint and holistic sales/marketing reporting system
Skills & expertise:
- Basic understanding of and interest in 3D printing processes (FDM/SLA/others)
- Strong fluency with technology and/or Engineering/Design background preferred given technical nature of product / service
- Have a strong understanding of prototyping process - from design to CAD/CAM to processing of printed output
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical sales or engineering/design role
- Awareness of various end user groups (Educational institutes, Jewellery design, Plastic moulding, Packaging design, Automotive design, etc) and ability to independently identify and approach potential end users and decision makers within these companies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, assertiveness and ability to persuade clients of product / service benefits and savings
- Compensation will be performance driven and commensurate with experience & qualifications
