Director - Talent Acquisition APAC
Come join an International Organization and oversee the recruitment function in APAC. A team of recruiters sit in Manila, India and Sydney that support all of APAC.
- The team currently consists of 4 TA Partners in APAC and will expand.
- The Dir will report to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition based in the US
- Implement organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for the business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes or programs in the APAC Region
- Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis.
- Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.
- Oversees staffing objectives while increasing quality of hire, reducing time to fill, cost per hire and employee relocation metrics.
- Manages vendor relationships; serves as a liaison for third party staffing firms.
- Evaluates talent pipeline and ensures readiness of candidate pipeline to meet business needs.
- Has a deep understanding of staff positions and establishes strategic partnerships with managers and department leaders to understand position needs.
- Develops innovative and cost effective recruiting processes.
- Monitors, tracks and analyzes recruitment metrics and activities.
- Develops recommendations regarding recruitment metrics.
- Partners and consults with the business to ensure recruiting operations are in line with business needs.
- Leads day-to-day operations of talent acquisition function.
- In conjunction with senior management and HR business partners, conducts organizational recommendations for improving recruitment related practice.
- Builds, manages, and provides leadership to a team of professional staff (may include other managers); performs other talent management and development decisions as needed.
- Develops and establishes functional strategy and tactics to ensure successful completion of work that meets or exceeds client and/or organizational expectations.
- Manages resources and takes accountability for the performance and results of multiple related teams.
- Develops departmental/functional plans, including business unit and/or production priorities, to address resource and operational needs and challenges.
- Identifies, establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers internally and externally.
- Provides subject matter expertise to clients, team members, colleagues, etc. on projects.
- Participates in both internal and external projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.
- Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with internal and external teams to understand risks, priorities, etc. and ensure a successful end result.
- Evaluates current business processes and systems, ensuring cost-savings and risk control.
- Coordinates financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency.
- Reviews team and individual performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.
- Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams
- Recommend changes and improvements when needed
