Director - Professional Services  Job Title : Sr Mgr-Professional Services Consulting   Work Location : IN-Bangalore   Responsibilities :   General Scope & Summary :   Senior Manager provides immediate supervision to a team who is responsible for the development and delivery of complex solutions for clients using company products and/or outsourced solutions or proprietary tools/techniques. The team makeup could consist of individual contributors, team leads, and managers.   Senior Manager performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity. Performance is typically measured by the effective productive utilization of their employees, customer satisfaction with the deliver solution and the implementation experience, meeting recognized revenue and gross margin targets, and being compliant with corporate VSOE objectives.   Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Senior Manager is responsible for all professional service delivery goals per executed SOW's.   Primary Role & Responsibilities :   - Direct supervision of immediate team providing problem solving, staff development, and mentoring.   - Keeping staffing and team training at a level that supports the business demands as well as access and determine long term training needs and develop training plans.   - Ability to accurately forecast quarterly revenue for the direct team.   - Provides guidance to employees according to established policies.   - Determines goals to meet business objectives. Ability to guide subordinates to achieve those goals.   - Manages the activities of direct reporting team with responsibility for people management and business results. Participates in setting of business objectives. May manage first level managers.   - Sets business objectives for area of responsibility. Develops and manages budgets, people, and performance goals for unit.   - Time sheet and expense report approval.   - Reviews and approves time sheets and expense reports for direct reports.   - Delivers performance reviews for direct reports, responsible for disciplinary/corrective action for direct reports.   - Manages a dedicated team of individuals and/or first line managers, with responsibility for people management and business results.   Qualifications :   Specialized Knowledge & Skills :   - Manages activities of individual contributors, team leads, and managers.   - Ability to communicate complex information to relevant stakeholders including executives both internally and externally.   - Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.   - Exercises judgment to achieve business results.   - Works on highly complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors.   - Takes leadership role in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.   Job Requirements :   - Minimum 4 + years managerial experience, 10 + years professional experience.   - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.   - Ability to pass a background check is required.   - Extensive travel may be required.
