About our Client - Our client is a premium international player in the confectioneries industry in India. Well established in the Indian market, they are looking to grow and mentor development of the business and take it to new heights. They are poised to grow rapidly and need a strong Director- Marketing to bring fresh and innovative ideas to develop brand & product.

Job Description - Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for :

To lead the Marketing agenda :

- Leadership position with an objective to strengthen the brand in India which is fairly established in the consumers mind but has to be built across India.

- Drive Brand Strategy and positioning across all Brands

- Spokesperson for Brand - Deliver PR strategy

Brand Positioning : Provide Local Brand Insight so as to fit with the Global Positioning.

Agency Relationship : Manage local Advertising, Promotions and Media agencies

Advertising Development : Provide inputs for campaign (advertising and Brand Activation) and develop and execute local advertising to support tactical promotion campaigns.

Advertising & Consumer Promotion Budget : Develop and manage the annual country Consumer Advertising and Promotion Budget.

Media Strategy, Planning and Execution : Evaluate and approve country media strategy

Consumer Promotions : Country level, approve country programs.

Consumer Insights :

- Provide input for regional consumer insights.

- Approve country research plan to address country consumer knowledge gaps.

Consumer Response : Review monthly consumer feedback data and take appropriate actions.

Brand Public Relations :

- Manage Brand Public Relations programs.

- The role is strategic in nature as it leads the Agenda in the Indian Context. Along with revenue generation effort, decides the country Brand strategy.

- The role has to focus on internal & external environments and continuously push the system to achieve the desired results, create Brand Pull and thereby generate sales in a cost efficient manner with an eye on cost to serve, and benchmarking with respect to market best practices.

- Interaction with key national and international stakeholders, internal and external.

The Successful Candidate :

- MBA - Premier Institute

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience

- Experience across Big Brand MNC's preferred.

- Understanding of the Foods category

- Managed a Brand Marketing Team.
