Reports to: Sr. Director - Large Business Supply Chain  Last Mile Operations Large Business will be to:  - Develop & Drive the Large Business Last Mile operations Strategy to deliver on the key expectations of customer experience and cost.  - Creatively Execute on the Last Mile Infrastructure expansion road map with highest level of capital efficiency and improving productivity, optimize cost efficiency and align with the business strategies to optimize value.  - Be responsible for last mile delivery with largest Reach, Efficiency and Best in Class Customer Experience, creating a benchmark in both logistics & online retail in Indian context  - Create & provide last mile delivery solution to the Business and other third party market place sellers, where required.  - Drive superior customer experience through focused initiatives on the people and process front.  - Develop the 3PL strategy for Last Mile operations and drive performance of 3PL partners at the same levels as own operations.  - Drive operational excellence through waste elimination, cost optimization, innovation in supply chain and optimal utilization of available resources.  - Develop, mentor and motivate the team spread across locations to achieve higher goals and build an organisation culture in which passion for continuous improvement is innate.  - Carefully select and intelligently apply world class Processes and Automation which drives the efficiency, cost and customer experience.  - Capital expenditure, budgeting and operational cost accountability of Last mile operations across India.  - Make strategic use of capital, to increase productivity, quality, and solving problems for scale in context of overall the Business's Vision  - Work closely with Technology/Engineering team to build strong Technology/Product/Processes for the logistics team.  - Work closely with Enabling/Business Partners like HR, F&I, IT, Finance & Accounts, Operations Excellence with respect to End Mile.  Specific Duties:  - Strategic management of the Large Business's Logistics functions  - Optimization of customer satisfaction/loyalty through improved operations  - Implementation of productivity/quality metrics and of incentive programs designed to minimize costs and enhance efficiency  - Effective planning and layout of workflow, equipment, and assembly procedures  - Recruiting, hiring, coaching and developing staff  - Maximizing of workforce capability  - Successful contract negotiation  Requirements and Qualifications:  - MBA with an Executive management experience of at least 5 years with an overall 15+ years- experience in the Industry  - Experience of having worked with global integrators, express companies, e-commerce, FMCG firms. Preferably having managed large scale delivery end mile operations  - Strong exposure of implementing Lean, Process improvement, 5S methodologies.  - Extensive people management experience with large team size including on the ground work force  - Should have Functional/Technical background. Should have an experience in leading & working with large teams  - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to assert strategic leadership, foresight and effective judgment  - The position will be based out of Bangalore
