Director - IT Infrastructure - FMCG

This role has Financial accountability for global infrastructure related IS budget as well as overheads association with the direct team.

The role is accountable for the design, implementation and running of global infrastructure, including costs associated with, but not limited to:

- Data Network

- Voice network

- Server Infrastructure and data storage

- Hosting

- Disaster recovery

- Service and Support

- Clients

- Outsourcing contracts

- Projects

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Member of the Global Information Systems Leadership Team

- Leads their own functional IS team across all global regions

- Responsibility within this role spans the IS strategic change requirements but may be involved in continuous improvement activities for some of the time.

- The role is responsible for owning and delivering key parts of the IS strategy and will take decisions that are prioritized in accordance with global priorities as agreed with the CIO.

Top 3 -5 Accountabilities:

Ensure alignment of the operational infrastructure and systems with the Global Information Systesm Strategy, the business strategy and business policies including:

- The sustainability policy

- M&A Strategy

- Security Policy

Accountability for KPI's relating to service standards, including

- Incidents

- Change

- Underlying Problems

- Release & deployments

- Customer Satisfaction Levels.

Continued Consolidation, standardisation and adoption of standardized infrastructure including:

- Desktops estate

- Servers

- Network

- Infrastructure Management

- Mobility

- Collaboration

Required Skills:

- 15+years experience in information Systems. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate 5+ years success in both IS functional and team leadership roles at a global level.

- Analytical Approach and Methodolgies:

- Certified Prince 2

- ITIL V3/2 certified.

Strategic and Architectural Understanding:

Broad and varied exp of Microsoft infrastructure Technologies and understanding of key infrastructure elements including:

- WAN & Lan

- Firewall & Security

- Internet and Web Technologies

- Active Directory

- Email Technologies

- Infrastructure management and monitoring

- SAP Knowledge

- Mobility

- Collaboration

- Storage

- Data Center
