About our Client - Our client is a leading Asset Management firm with significant growth plans for the India region. As a part of their growth plans, they are looking for a seasoned professional who would be part of of their setup in Delhi NCR leading Controllership and Transformation.

Job Description - Reporting to the Head of Financial Shared Services and functionally to the UK, you will manage a team 20 + and be responsible for:

- Delivery of the offshore Group Control Finance Shared Services team.

- Oversight and accountability for group financial reporting and general accounting process change.

- Providing input to objective setting process, led by the functional lead, for their direct reports, as well as keeping them focused on priority goals and ensuring these are cascaded down to the wider team.

- Acts as an Group Control process lead and works closely with the Global Process Owner, to create efficiencies through cross-region process standardization.

- Drive process change and efficiency.

- Act as a point of escalation for major issues concerning Group Controlling and ensuing matters are communicated to the relevant leads onshore where required.

- Maintaining a constructive and professional relationship with key onshore and offshore stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA with 15 + years of experience within Financial Services. A strong understanding of financial accounting, financial reporting, USGAAP and a detailed knowledge of financial & operating systems is required. This role will require a strong individual with experience in working in a global setting and know how to execute change, working closely with the relevant Global Process Owner to ensure process consistency across regions.
