Client Details

Our client is a large multinational retail firm with a footprint in over 75 countries and has more than 2000 stores globally. Known for quality products across multiple segments, our client is entering the India market as a part of its next growth phase.

Description

Reporting in to the CEO of the Indian operations, the role shall involve:-

- Taking care of the entire financial operations & strategy for the firm in India

- Setting up internal controls, systems and processes for the organization

- Ensuring accurate reporting of financials to the local as well as the global financial team along with compliance with local laws

- Dealing with tax authorities

- Driving the strategy of the firm from a financial stand point, which shall include identification and evaluation of opportunities for the firm to grow within India

- Developing, training and leading the finance team within the country

Profile

You shall be a Chartered Accountant with circa 18 years of post qualification experience, primarily with multinational retail firms. You will have a proven track record of leading finance teams and successfully partnering with businesses to facilitate their growth. You will also have excellent communication skills and have experience in dealing with both local and international stakeholders
