Director - Finance - CA - Non Profit Social Service Firm

Location : Mumbai

- This a non profit social service organisation. Compensation is around 30 lakhs

- Role incumbent shall be a top management team member and shall be accountable for all strategic staff functions like Finance, Accounts, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Administration

- Strategic alignment of all support function in line with organizational objectives

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic / leadership role

- Play the role of a Business Manager providing direction in matters relating to strategies, long range planning, etc

- Drive and lead decentralization process of finance and accounts function and empower the regional teams

- Lead the automation project of ERP, MIS and systems integration

- Partner with sustainability team in establishing the call centre for retail vertical

- Planning for infrastructure in line with envisaged organizational growth

- Execution of projects - space, equipment, systems, etc.

- Business Continuity Management

- Provide Leadership to team of professionals in line with Magic Bus values

- Mentor and develop team members

- Manage performance by establishing and reviewing objectives on a regular basis

Finance :

- Advise on all finance related matters for all respective offices

- Financial reporting - monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, Budget preparation, Variance reporting

- Proactive solutions for cost management

- Taxation, Government and statutory reporting

- Working Capital Management: includes cash, receivables & cash flow forecasting

- Control over company's assets, liabilities and exposures

Legal :

- Overall responsibility of compliance, legal and secretarial activities.

Administration :

- Facilities and Office Infrastructure management, IT, security and other administrative activities

- Ensure effective administrative processes and policies are in place and consistently monitored

- Local trade, employment registrations and licences
