Director Engineering  Looking for a Director Engineering for a renowned OTA based out of Bangalore.   Ideal candidate would be somebody with:   - 8+ years of experience in Software Development, with an Computer Science/Engineering degree, preferably from a tier 1 or 2 institute.  - 8- 12 years of software development experience, with managerial capacity  - Professional experience with web and Mobile apps development  Skills required :  - Excellent communication skills, fluent English - Communicates effectively in all situations and creates an environment of open and effective communication.  - Strong decision making skills, metric-driven operations and ability to motivate and maximize productivity in a fast-paced environment  - Knowledge of various Development practices and programming languages  - Ability to work with multiple levels in the organization with key business holders  - Preferred if has past experience around Payment Gateway.  - Preferred if some experience in Python knowledge   - Excellent with Tech Stack like Java and Ruby (RoR)  - Should have aware of best practices for Software development  - Should been keen around delivering top notch Technical Architecture.   KRA- s:  - Responsible for the product engineering road map, quality assurance and various services of organizations.  - Lead a team of development engineers towards project/program goals  - Come up with technical road map for the product to make it best-of-the-breed   - Good hands on experience in architecture and development of at least one large scale web application  - Have a very good understanding of Web architecture  - Leading the team for timely product releases  - Good understanding of various technologies and being able to come up with solution to address the problem at hand  - Being able to come up with a strong and clear architecture based on the requirements from the team.   - Presenting complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences  - Working with Product Managers and other stake holders continuously to churn out new features
