Director - Employee Relations

Job Description and Responsibilities:

1. Drive strategically and oversee all employee relations initiatives within the organization in coordination with Global ER/TM team.

2. Lead on the ER/TM aspects of proposed changes to the business structure

3. Contribute to the development of the Human Resource function by developing an ER strategy that is aligned with business needs

4. Advice and support all parts of the business on ER/TM matters to ensure their effective management. Issues include: discipline, grievances and performance issues.

5. Drive employee centric engagements – PMS, R&R, SHRC, Role Changes, Floor discipline etc.

6. Keep up to date with current HR policies and ensure there implementation in best of the spirits.

7. Manage the employee relations team effectively to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications:

1. MBA / PGD in HR.

2. 14+ years of experience in an outsourcing / services company preferably from travel industry

3. Must have experience in ER / HRBP roles.

4. Demonstrated ability to work successfully across cultures and regions.

5. Willing to work on US rotational shifts.

6. Strong project management skills

7. Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level

8. Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgments around issues that may have an adverse effect on the business from an ER/TM perspective

9. Strong people management skills.
