Description - Our client is looking for a Director of Operations to manage the overall credit operations of the company. The candidate will ensure smooth work flow and partner with the business in order to achieve strategic goals.

Our client is one of the leading financial service providers in the country, specialising in debt capital markets. They provide their expertise to other financial institutions looking to tap into debt capital markets, with the aim of impacting low income households.

Description :

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for :

1 Handling pre and post disbursement documentation while coordinating with the lenders and other parties, acting as an interface for maximum efficiency

2 Regularly evaluating the processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, continuously bringing out process improvements

3 Following up and tracking the covenants to ensure compliance of sanction terms

4 Ensuring timely completion of various audits, empanelling auditors while keeping an eye on cost

5 Managing projects such as analysing, specifying, testing and implementation of new systems

6 Submitting monthly MIS and ad-hoc reports based on management requirements

7 On-board, train and build a strong operations team

Profile :

- You will be an experienced credit operations professional with a CA/MBA Finance degree, with 8-10 years of experience in NBFC/ Banking operations in corporate lending. Sound knowledge of back office ops for corporate lending and debt market transactions are critical for the role. Candidates who have a good understanding of local regulatory requirements, legal documentation and treasury documentation knowledge will be strongly preferred.

- Good product knowledge of corporate lending products such as term loans, securitization, credit enhancement and debt restructuring is critical for this role. Candidates who have driven process improvement and re-engineering initiatives on a continuous basis, with hands on experience in developing robust MISs, and partnering with various teams will be strongly preferred.
