We have an opening for Director Business Transformation .

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

The primary job role would be to:

1. Manage and build capability across the Business Transformation (BT) team

2. Serve as the quality champion of the organisation

3. Manage delivery of the three BT verticals (Transitions, Business Analysis, Quality) and ensure quality delivery

4. Personally manage large change and quality programmes across the group

5. Continuous improvement of programme management standards, practises and procedures

Generic responsibilities

- Understand the different areas of operations in the Oragnisation

- Responsible for achievement of the financial targets of a set of Programmes

- Lead, motivate, counsel, develop and coach operational managers, business stakeholders, other project resources

- Lead and Effectively implement programmes within the dimensions of cost, quality and scope

- Effective liaison with various departments within group companies and to gain support and resolve issues

- Enforce adherence to security and data protection within programme domain

- Ensure that there is rigor around the methodology of program management and in its implementation

- Lead and effect the benefit realisation on programs

- Ensure compliance with the needs of the project office

- Ensure change impact is assessed and actively managed

- Ensure active management of programme communication to stakeholders

Relationship building

- Build strong partnership with companies and anticipate risks and issues and deliver accordingly.

- Ensure partnership with teams for the seamless handover in case of migration programmes and seamless execution in case of internal projects

- Proactively identify problems and presenting solutions

Competence / Knowledge / Skills required

Functional/ technical skills:

- Knowledge of quality initiatives such as six sigma, lean and ISO

- Ability to visualise system requirements and articulate the same in the form of a functionality requirement document for IT.

- Excellent presentation and MS office power point skills

- Strong programme / change management skills.

- Good understanding of technology (architecture existing and possibilities)

- Ability to understand work flows

- Ability to gauge risk and compliance impact of and on projects

- Experience in dealing with international customers.

- Excellent problem solving skills

Generic Skills/ competencies:

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent stakeholder management skills

- Strong Managerial skills

- High degree of problem solving skills to resolve problems in a multi product/service environment.

Leadership Skills/ Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of motivational techniques.

- Team building skills

- Excellent performance management skills.

Specific position related experience:

- 10 – 15 years of experience in project/ programme/ Change management in financial services/ ITES or remote processing organisations with proven track record in service delivery. Prior management consulting experience preferred.

Level of Educational Qualifications

- MBA from a recognised university. Strong academic background

- Change Management experience should be at Organization level and not at function or process level.
