Director - Business Plan/Strategy - Health/Nutrition/Wash

Position : Director, Health, Nutrition and WASH

Location : New Delhi

Qualification : Masters in Public Health/M.D./Ph.D. in Health and Nutrition/ or similar relevant educational qualifications from a reputable institute

Job Responsibility :

- To steer Health, Nutrition and WASH (HNWASH) Sector practice to a globally recognized one with business/partnership established with lead donors,governments and sector specific institutions.

- Prepare and implement country strategy, business plans, and strategy papers for health, nutrition and WASH.

- Lead HNWASH Team to achieve its business targets set by the management from time to time.

- Build quality relationships with clients and partners and support business development to remain a leader in provision of technical support in the health sector.

- Strong project planning, project team management and provide leadership to the HNWASH Team within Company.

- Improve portfolio quality of HNWASH by ensuring timely delivery of outputs and activities across the portfolio.

- Meet regularly with current and prospective clients and partner institutions to nurture relationships and check on client satisfaction and monitor project quality

- Ensure the hiring and retention of top quality technical, management, and administrative staff for India projects and business activities.

- Conduct regular review of project reports, case studies, info-graphics, assessments and suggest facilitate access to different platforms for dissemination

- To provide strategic directions, facilitate design of new interventions keeping in mind overall project objectives, evidence base and addressing equity parameters in RMNCH+A and other strategic projects.

- Provide thought leadership for HNWASH within Group and also showcase its projects achievements in various forums within India and outside.

- Represent IPE Group in think tanks and conduct regular outreach activities with a view to improve Group's footprint in HNWASH.

- To provide recommendations for improving quality.

Candidate Profile :

- Masters in Public Health/M.D./Ph.D. in Health and Nutrition/ or similar relevant educational qualifications from a reputable institute with a minimum of 15 years of experience across consulting and strategic business management in private,government or non-government practice in the health sector.

- Significant experience of leading the P&L of a business vertical, identifying and securing funding for new initiatives, and leading and growing the business.

- Proven ability in straddling multiple day to day roles that include timely project delivery, client relationship management, quality assurance, team building and mentor-ship, business development, brand visibility and thought leadership.

- Demonstrated skills in networking and leveraging relationships across a range of stakeholders including donors, governments, experts and partners.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently occasionally on short notice both nationally and internationally.
