Director - 3PL - Logistics - eCommerce

One of the leading E-commerce company's in India is looking for a person to play the leadership role in Indian retail & distribution context, and be part of its leadership team in propelling them to the next level.

Responsibities:-

- Build vision and strategy for logistics orchestration in marketplace.

- Build framework for third party logistics play in marketplace.

- Spearhead marketplace pick-up and outbound delivery operations.

- Define,track and improve key metricspertaining to logistics operations.

- Continuous performance review of existing delivery partners based on cost, speed and accuracy and taking quick decisions to align end objective of seller and customer delight.

- Continuous increase of reach of pick-up and delivery.

- Build capabilities to provide competitive logistics marketplace to sellers.

- Explore and implement new delivery models for speed, seller and customer delight.

- Drive strong system capabilities partneringclosely with Technology/Engineering team for third party logistics.

Your Array (Nice to Haves):

- MBA from tier 1 institute with a general management experience of 6+ years in an operational leadership role.

You (Must Haves):

- Experience in handling franchisees in logistics/courier industry

- Strong negotiation skills

- Very high customer orientation

- Functional/Technical background. Should have an experience in leading & working with large teams.

- Excellent communication skills
