Dimension Data - Apps/Workload Consultant - SAP

- Engage as IT lead into business & application teams

- Strong product knowledge of the Application/Workloads relevant to industry

- Technical: AIX and Linux (or Unix in general), EMC and Networking, Enterprise Architecture

- Hands-on: Capacity Planning tools, Performance Tuning and Application Monitoring

- Liaison with IT business, application and enterprise architecture for Strategy and Design related to Application/Workload

- Application solution design and costing including frequent review of design documents

- Strong in-depth product knowledge of the Application/Workload

- Strong knowledge of the Application/s licensing model

- Involvement in IT application design phase ensuring best practices endorsement

- Liaison with suppliers and technology support groups

- Leadership in delivering projects on time

- Drive Application/Workload systems efficiency. Performance analysis and tuning
