About Digimpact :

- Digimpact is an early stage for-profit social enterprise and we are motivated to bring standardization and transparency in impact assessment of social sector programs.

- We are working to build a SaaS tool to help social enterprises, impact investors and non-profits overcome various challenges in Monitoring and Evaluation.

- The SaaS tool which is a combination of the following elements will help social sector organizations save time, money and improve the quality of their M&E efforts.

Components of the SaaS tool :

KarmaBook - a customizable mobile application for digitizing the data collection in the field.

KarmAccount - a cloud based platform for analyzing and visualizing the data. It can be used to communicate information and reports to internal and external stakeholders. This will have a repository of forms which will have sample questionnaires to collect data about various elements of inputs, activities, output, outcome and impact

What we have Done so Far :

Helped a District Tuberculosis Officer get access to valid and authentic data in real time for efficient decision making.

Helped an NGO working with transgenders and sex workers to digitize their process of data collection.

Won a Social Entrepreneurship B- Plan Competition.

Won the best pitch award at Start-up Weekend( Social Innovations and Green Tech)

About Our Team :

Yeshavi, leading technology development with an experience of 10 years in software development.

Yogeshwar, fourth year student at NSIT. Also a Udacity Android Nanodegree scholar ( powered by Google).

I, Ankit have worked with Texas Instruments as an account manager from 2012-15. Then did a course on Social Entrepreneurship and joined a fellowship called Youth for India, where I worked with an organization called Gram Vikas on rural development projects. I co-founded Digimpact with Yeshasvi in January 2016.

Roles and Responsibilities as Co-Founder :

- As a co-founder, use your knowledge and work experience to influence design of sector specific modules in the SaaS tool by analysing sector specific common elements for Inputs, Activities, Outputs, Outcome and Impact.

- You will also have the overall responsibility of conceptualizing, coordinating, implementing and supervising all research, monitoring and evaluation activities of different research projects or impact assessment projects that Digimpact bids for and wins.

- You will also have the responsibility of designing research studies and/or monitoring and evaluation framework for early stage social enterprises or non-profits who need consultation in choosing impact assessment parameters and designing the M&E framework.

- Willingness to use knowledge base and experience in one specific sector like healthcare or WASH and help build a team for expanding research competency in other sectors like education, livelihoods etc.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sociology/Economics/ Development Economics/ Statistics or allied disciplines with at least 3-4 years of work experience in areas of social development and social security.

- Experience in designing and implementing research studies, process evaluations and impact evaluations.

- Knowledge and experience of designing of developing monitoring systems with NGOs.

- Experience of experimental( random assignment) and quasi- experimental evaluation of social programs( is a bonus).

- Knowledge of existing databases to identify individuals (such as Aadhar), census data and poverty measurement instruments in India (such as BPL, SECC)

- Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a small collegial team environment.

- Excited by the opportunity that technology has to introduce more transparency and optimize the processes of monitoring and evaluation.
