We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Area Sales Manager - HORECA and Institutional Sales. The role is based in Delhi/NCR.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsibility to acquire new food service accounts with HORECA clients and a wide range of institutions, including airlines, hospitals, movie theaters, corporates, canteens, etc.
- Planning and implementing HORECA account-specific marketing strategies and promotions to increase market penetration and to drive revenue and profitability by maximizing sales
- Identifying market potential in order to establish new accounts, achieve food service sales volume, revenue and profitability goals.
- To pro-actively and aggressively undertake business development by initiating meetings with new potential customers.
- To closely manage existing client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers so as to provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
- Establish and develop a strong HORECA distribution network for the company.
- Manage order generation through customers and oversee order execution
- Lead the planning and adhering to TOT, along with other business and market share deliverables.
- Ensuring timely payments from the clients.
- Bring out opportunities and gaps for the larger team to work upon, in terms of new products, new customers, new marketing opportunities, etc.
- Create regular progress reports and conduct Regular review and progress tracking meetings with the Senior Management.
Eligibility/ Requirements :
- Minimum 4 years Sales & Marketing experience handling Food Service accounts, specifically HORECA customers and other institutional clients.
- Must have sound knowledge of the HORECA and Institutional sales process
- Strong experience with all aspects and dimensions of Food Service contracts, and understanding of the F&B/ Food service industry
- Ability to deal at all levels from Head Chefs, Catering Managers and Purchasing Managers through to F&B Managers and Hotel Owners.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the HORECA segment, including prior experience in handling major hotel chains across the country
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, with a strong drive, ambition and self-initiative to meet and exceed targets
- Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results
- Strong ability to build an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape through customer discussions and field visits
