Dharma Life is looking to recruit an experienced and entrepreneurial individual for the position of State Head - Channel and Sales for Bihar/Rajasthan to lead the Dharma Life's Channel and Sales function and entrepreneurship model.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Execution of strategic channel sales plan for Bihar/Rajasthan that results in Dharma Life meeting its social and business objectives.
Build revenue portfolio and drive operational efficiency. Build a diversified product and service portfolio focussed on high gross margin and a high quality value proposition to entrepreneurs and customers.
Identify, select, orient, train, develop, assign, coach, retain and counsel, Enterprise Leaders (District Managers) and Dharma Life Entrepreneurs (DLE) through Enterprise Leaders
Efficient financial management with established objectives, plans, budget, finance, accounting, and commercial policies.
DLE network creation and management - appointing rural youth/ housewives/local villagers as Entrepreneurs through Enterprise Leaders
Strengthen village level entrepreneurship network ensuring training, development, growth and retention of Entrepreneurs
Identify, appoint, develop and manage network of business/channel partners, and explore new channels resulting in market penetration and reach. Build rapport with key channel partners by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; and anticipating new opportunities.
Provide strong effective leadership and create an environment which attracts and retains talents. Motivate, guide and direct the team. Conduct regular team meetings; evaluate the efficiency and productivity of team through performance standards and objectives; conduct regular operations reviews and audits. Coach them to understand Dharma Life's business and provide then support and knowledge to work independently with DLEs.
Guide ELs to connect with DLEs on one to one basis, provide demonstrations and help DLEs understand the impact of our product/service range on their day to day life
Appointing distributors and driving the sales of products
Ensuring the visibility of our products with distributors.
Sales of our product mix (FMCG & Consumer durable products) in the District assigned through DLEs
Educational Qualifications :
Consistent academic & professional qualification track record
Academic : Graduate in any stream from a well-recognized University
Professional : A Post Graduate in Management /MBA in Sales & Marketing from a premiere Business School
Experience : 4-8 years
Industry Knowledge :
Preference to the candidates who have worked with top organizations in the rural marketing space. Other industry exposure candidates may also be considered. In such case, preference will be given to FMCG and Service Sector exposure.
