Dharma Life is looking to recruit a Head of Marketing and Communication who will conceptualize, create and execute the Marketing and Communication Strategy aligned with the overall business goals of Dharma Life. By 2020, we aim to reach 50 million consumers through a network of 100,000 Dharma Life entrepreneurs.   Role Summary:  - The Head of Marketing and Communication will be responsible for creating a dynamic marketing strategy, media strategy, and creative synergy with all other functions to raise the visibility of Dharma Life that will maximize sales, profit and social impact.   - Drive Dharma Life brand, products and service brands through activities among village-level entrepreneurs, end consumers, and potential partners aligned with social causes.   - Work closely with channel and sales, training and category teams to ensure consistent business growth geared towards achieving the Dharma Life's 2020 vision.  Primary Responsibilities:  - Lead Dharma Life's marketing and communication strategy to achieve the organisations business goals and associated revenue targets  - Create new business development opportunity for the company among potential product partners through effective marketing communication pitch; coordinate with category team as art of the business development process while ensuring the development of quality, creative,compelling and targeted proposals  - Continuously build innovative communication channels, including digital advancements, alternative formats, new media, advertising, social media, press, direct response, and nontraditional communication solutions to raise Dharma's profile and market Dharma's activities including international programs, recruitment, fundraising and training  - Provides strategic direction, recommendations and plans for all aspects of web design, functionality and content, marketing and brand design, media relations, customer relations,and partnerships  - Manage and comply with a brand governance program. Maintain the visual and editorial brands identity and style standards in all communication vehicles, including web site, print and digital  - Create strong brand identity for Dharma Life and its product partners through appropriate brand positioning and product planning using various avenues above and below the line tools including but not limited to email marketing, strong digital & mobile presence, collatera content - brochures, flyers, banners, etc.  - Management of ATL & BTL activities in collaboration with sales team and external alliances.  - Prepare a strategic mix of ATL and BTL activities and take it though the line in a seamless manner  - Study global marketing trends in the rural space for social impact, competition benchmarking, market share analysis and loss of opportunity review. Keep track of competitor's marketing strategies. Constant monitoring of Brand Health status  - Manage overall marketing and communication budget based on the historical data, projections and actual expenditure  - Execute thought leadership research projects to develop high-value research content to drive external awareness about the company, social causes and related products  - Manage marketing and communication team by mentoring and providing directions to ensure their high level engagement with the work / team and their motivation and thereby help them in realizing their potential. Exhibit participative style leadership to build cohesive and dynamic team  - Act as a catalyst to bring great ideas and innovation approach in the marketing, provide guidance and engage Dharma Life teams through internal communication  Desired Skills & Experience:  - A Bachelor's degree with post graduate qualification in Marketing, Mass Communication or related subject is required.  - Over 10 years experience in marketing and communication with reputed companies with expertise in marketing design, inspiring communication, field execution and its impact on the business  - Outstanding writer accustomed to meeting multiple, concurrent and critical deadlines; ability to write winning proposals  - Experience must include advanced written analysis, quantitative forecasting and excellent presentation skills  - Deep understanding of B2B marketing and communications strategies and creation of integrated communications  - Ability to understand business issues and thus design appropriate communication and branding plan to meet the business needs  - Demonstrated strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills spanning work with local, remote and global colleagues in various disciplines  - Ability to interact with all levels of management, news media, customers, and vendors; must be able to impact and influence others and work cross-functionally  Personal Attributes  - A resourceful self-starter.
