STEPS is an Executive Search Organization headquartered in New Delhi.

I have started this Organisation after working in the industry for 16yrs in HR..

My last Organisation was CSC.. In the past worked with HCL, Nucleus S/w, NPI, DCM, Mitsui.

We partner with our clients to fill up their strategic and leadership positions for their business success.

In the process, currently we are partnering with a large UK based KPO/BPO/IT MNC

2 POSITIONS –

DGM/Sr.Mgr - Business HR

This position is the Location Head (1 at Bangalore and the other at Pune) for KPO/BPO and Software IT Business

Job Purpose/Background:

Based in Pune/Bangalore, India, this incumbent will play the role of a senior Relationship Manager and support business functions based in the Pune/Bangalore office for all people practices. Key mandates for this incumbent will include the development and implementation of innovative engagement practices.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

To help refine HR strategy, guide business to formulate all people matrix and front end with business as one point contact for all HR requirements. To manage employee relations for assigned set of business lines and functions (across sites) and HR perception with primary stakeholders therein, to manage and develop a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Executives and Senior Executives and to assess and build culture through targeted engagement initiatives, projects, consistent processes & systems and best practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To provide the strategic interface to stakeholders, including HODs and Directors, through the provision of high quality guidance and support in developing and progressing people management solutions to achieve business objectives.

- Co-own all People responsibilities like Development with Business and liase with Corporate HR to implement New HR initiatives.

- Educate the Business Head on how account is doing on the people matrix.

- Provide Guidance to Business on managing various people related issues.

- Assess and implement best practices in Employee Engagement at Capita;

- Oversee (and drive consistency in) hygiene processes including employee confirmations, performance appraisals (standard KPIs), movements, transfers and exits across locations.

- Support business lines and functions on special projects process transitions, integrations;

- Own and present employee engagement analytics to senior management and clients;

- Manage internal relationships, advising the senior management teams across business lines and functions on BP responsibilities, escalations, policies and process updates;.

- To facilitate joint review of policies and processes from a business impact and relevance perspective and implement the suggestions within the business

- Coach, guide and support team to achieve individual, team and department objectives.
