DGM-Contract and Legal(Female candidates only)

Role purpose:

- The incumbent is a key member of the Legal team and is expected to support the general counsel in addressing legal and compliance issues raised by the management, Group legal and Group Audit levels.

- The incumbent will be directly accountable to the General Counsel for providing legal support and responsibility in providing corporate legal support in executing business expansion plans.in terms of business ramp up and property acquisition.

- The incumbent is also expected to provide advisory support on corporate law, contracts law, information technology laws, intellectual property rights, real estate laws, merger, and acquisitions etc. under the supervision of the General Counsel.

- The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in setting up policies and procedures in the provision of support to clients consistent with contractual obligations

- The incumbent is also expected to actively collaborate with the other team members of the General Counsel in the Legal team and provide assistance in formulating, drafting and implementing policies associated with their respective areas of excellence.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

- Assisting the General Counsel and has a responsibility in providing legal support on structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with Suppliers and Partners with the prime objective of mitigating legal/business risks.

- Apply strong academic and industry experience and drive apt and at times innovative legal solution based on the organization interest

- Assist the General Counsel in addressing legal and compliance issues raised by the management, Group legal and Group Audit levels.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

- Lead SME in Legal Policy formulation, Contract negotiations, Labour Laws, Mergers and Acquisitions and India/European Intellectual Property Rights and Information and Communications Technology Laws.

- Open to learning

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

- B.A.LL.B (Hons)
