Role : Deputy Manager  Department : Accounts & Taxation  Job Location: Mumbai  Qualification: CA /MBA Finance  Experience: At least 3 years experience post qualification  Job Purpose:  - The role is responsible to monitor and ensure timely Bank Reconciliations by the team as per reconciliation standards. Also to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the Bank Reconciliation related to Payments and Collections of Group business.   - Develop and implement effective tracking for timely deposit and collection of premium across branches and also to ensure proper coordination with branches / banks / client service for timely resolution of reconciliation queries.   The role is also responsible to ensure correct debit and credit details updation into RWS for policy issuance and premium accounting.  - Review reconciliations and ensure these are updated and as per defined reconciliation standard  - Liaison with banks, client service and branches to ensure that open items of reconciliations are closed properly and timely.  Manage the following reconciliation categories and ensure accuracy and adherence to TATs :  - Collection Reconciliation  - Payment A/c Reconciliation  - Ingenium Control Reconciliation  - Compass Reconciliation  - Ensure timely tracking of cheques issued but not presented.  - Timely movement of cheques to stale cheque and maintain accurate MIS thereof.  - Ensure timely and accurate accounting, profit booking and reversals as and when required.  - Ensure timely updation of debit/ credit dates of instruments to avoid any delay in policy issuance or cancellation.  - Ensure that queries through helpdesk system are closed as per TAT and in correct manner.   - Ensure that queries are routed through helpdesk management only.  - Identify areas where automation can be done to resolve helpdesk queries.  - Generate various Management Reports and timely submission of the same.  - Guide and coach the team in order to enhance performance.  - Identify training needs of team members and provide on the job training and monitor progress.  - Provide regular feedback on performance  - Ensure career development of team members through timely role changes and enhancements
