Deputy Manager - Internal Audit - CA - Education

We Have an urgent requirement for Deputy Manager - Internal Audit with one of the Education Client based at Gurgaon Location

Qualification : CA is must and should be very much open for travelling within India

Experience 4 years to 8 years

JD is as follows :

The candidate shall work as part of Internal Audit Team (IA) of GEMS- operations in India. IA is responsible for audit of all of GEMS's operations in India. As part of its functioning, IA at GEMS works closely with various business verticals and other functions to ensure that the audit activity is able to add value to the business and understands the pulse of the Organisation.

Following are the key aspects of the role being offered:

- Candidate should have 5+ years of post-qualification experience of working in Internal Audit Department, preferably in educational set-ups in India at middle to upper middle levels;

- Candidate should have knowledge and 3+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) methodology for evaluation of risks and controls;

- Candidate should have work experience in advising on or setting up and documentation of processes, policies & procedures for the Organisation;

- Candidate should have carried out risk assessment, control evaluation and internal audits in various financial and non-financial domains with an Organisation (hence not restricting the audit domain to financial aspects only);

- Candidate should have experience in preparing Internal Audit Reports and Presentations to Senior Management. Involvement in presentation to Audit Committees or Board on behalf of IA is preferable;

- Candidate should be able to intelligently combine and implement the internationally accepted auditing standards with the working environment, limitations and risks at ground level;

- Working experience in SAP would be preferable.

18. Is well versed with Indian Accounting Standards and various aspects of audit of Corporate Offices (e.g. Inter Company, Cash Flows, Procurement, HR, Legal, Academics, Related Party, Revenue Recognition, Forex, etc.);

- Preference for candidates who have experience in audit of Educational Societies, Schools and similar institutions. Experience in audit of non-financial aspects e.g. Academics & Education, Marketing Strategy, Enrolments, Parent Relations, Service Quality, etc.

Skills :

- Possesses the required qualification (preferably CIA or CA) and years of experience as specified above;

- Very good to excellent in spoken and written English;

- Possesses excellent analytical skills and can demonstrate linkage of analytical findings to identifying of key risks and priortising of audit areas;

- Can adapt to local environment which might range from Corporate Function to a School Unit (located in remote locations of the Country);

- Has experience in interacting with senior management and is able to put his viewpoints forward as required;

- Possesses excellent team spirit;

- Demonstrates receptiveness to work related challenges, working under pressure. Is able to provide workable solutions.

- Ready to travel extensively within the Country;

- Preferably a resident of Gurgaon or Delhi.
