The Financial Advisory (FA) practice is one of the corner stones of 4 global service lines alongside Audit, Tax and Consulting.
Deloitte FA advises clients throughout the deals lifecycle from market studies and entry strategies to deal origination and execution (M&A Advisory, Restructuring, Divestitures, Debt & Equity Funding raising and Capital Planning), Financial, HR, and Commercial Diligence, Background checks & BI, Advisory on Distress situations and Post-Merger Integration services. Further, we help clients address serious business concerns involving fraud, forensic investigations, litigation and reorganization. We also advise businesses on valuation issues and other matters to help them in complying in today's regulatory environment.

Principal Accountabilities :
Business Development
- Source new business and aid in the organization's growth through new Financial Sponsor engagements across service lines in Financial Advisory
- Develop and maintain relationships with top decision makers at key clients through relevant idea generation and regular client interaction
- To be the first point-of-contact within Financial Advisory for all Financial Sponsor clients
- The ideal candidate should understand industry dynamics, anticipate client needs and leverage Deloitte's capabilities to deliver on potential business opportunities
Client Service Delivery
- Stay attuned to the business needs of clients, bringing potential opportunities to the notice of relevant service line leaders at appropriate points in time in the Financial Sponsor's investment and exit cycle
- Provide high quality client service, working directly with our clients to understand management expectations, while evaluating potential services in the current risk management environment
Engagement Management
- Manage engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting, ensuring management / resource band-width from various service lines for proposed services
- Active involvement in project management for current engagements with our Financial Sponsor clients
Practice Development
- Development and deployment of Deloitte capabilities to actively support Financial Sponsor clients in their deal cycle
- Active involvement in the development of new service offering as may be required to meet specific challenges faced by Financial Sponsor clients
People Development:
- Perform role of counselor and coach, and provide input and guidance in staff development initiatives as also in ongoing client engagements
Specifications :
Education : Chartered Accountant or MBA
Experience :
- 8 - 12 years of experience in a financial sponsor coverage role is preferred; However, experience with leveraged finance or other client coverage roles would also be considered
- Existing relationships with Financial Sponsors would be an added advantage
Skills & Abilities :
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact comfortable with senior management at key clients
- Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive; Highly energetic and decisive with a high level of integrity
