Job Responsibilities:  - The Senior Consultant is responsible for managing a discrete work-stream (or module) within a broader project. For instance, on a growth strategy project for a pharmaceutical company, one module may be focused on conducting expert interviews and secondary research to understand key market trends, another on gaining a better understanding of unmet patient needs, and a third on developing financial forecasts of the future performance of existing lines of business.  - The number of modules varies from case to case, and depends on the size of the team and the scope of the project. Similarly, the number of consultants assigned to a module varies based on the level of complexity of the work.  Senior Consultants frequently manage one or more junior consultants. Their responsibilities can include:  - Working with Partners, Managers, and clients to develop hypotheses and work plans that address project objectives  - Managing data collection and analysis  - Developing insights from the analytical process and integrating the module's findings into the broader project work  - Communicating analysis and recommendations in both written and oral communication with internal and client leadership  - Building the relationship between Deloitte and the client's project team  - Providing professional development opportunities and feedback for Consultants  Job Qualifications:  Successful candidates will have a degree from a top-tier MBA program and 2-5 years of relevant business experience. Candidates should have the ability to meet each of the following criteria:  - A strong and demonstrated interest in strategy consulting  - Background or experience (through coursework or employment) in marketing, quantitative analysis and financial analysis  - A base level of knowledge in business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques  - Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework  - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.  - Leadership qualities, project management skills, and the ability to mentor  - Willingness and ability to take initiative and learn independently  Personal Qualities Valued:  - Intellectually powerful and agile: curious, rigorous, and creative  - Emotionally intelligent: High ability to build strong relationships that inspire openness and trust; to collaborate in teamwork settings with colleagues and clients; and to balance inquiry and advocacy in all personal interactions  - Comfortable with working on difficult issues where there can be no definitive - right- answer; patient in the face of uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity  - Capable of working on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment  - Able to take initiative and make things happen with moderate supervision and guidance  We can also look for only SC guys from FMCG companies such as Nestle, ITC, HUL, P&G etc
