Deloitte - Manager - Consulting - Shared Service Advisory

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

- Assisting in setting-up/ scaling-up of shared service centers.

- Assisting in conducting business case analysis for shared services programs.

- Developing alternative shared services delivery models including captive centers, joint ventures, spin-offs, and hybrid sourcing relationships.

- Shared services operating model design, planning, deployment and management lifecycle including governance and service management.

- Business diagnosis and planning activities.

- Managing transition, knowledge transfers & process reengineering.

- Design of reporting requirements for operational reports, service level requirements and process KPIs

- Cost optimization for Shared Services .

- Supplier governance model, Vendor evaluation, Contract management, Benchmarking.

- Assisting in firm level activities - business development, developing tools, accelerators, thought leadership.

Skills Required:

- Experience in business operations, systems evaluation, and enterprise architecture and supplier governance.

- Knowledge of service portfolio management and outsourcing supplier governance including procurement services, contract management, vendor management, supplier governance model design, and implementation or optimization.

- Deep expertise in one or more of Finance, HR, Procurement, IT operations/ processes .

- Deep expertise in one or more of Banking, Financial services, Retail, Telecom, Manufacturing industries

- Good understanding of IT / BPO contracts.

- Exposure to global best practices related to sourcing strategy, Location assessment, Vendor Evaluation.

- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, including the delivery of cross functional and transformation projects.

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

- Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm and a good team player.

- Ability to empathize with clients and to work to demanding timeframes/deadlines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Job requires extensive travel

Qualifications required:

- Masters: MBA

- Bachelors: Commerce / Science / Engineering background from a premier institute

- 6-8 years- of relevant experience across consulting (leading management consulting firms) and/or industry roles
