ERS practice delivers services focused on addressing the Business and Technology risks for Deloitte's clients in US and global.

- The Business Risk (BR) service area is comprised of professionals that possess competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and operational processes, internal auditing, financial reporting and other internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Business risk professionals use these skills to assess, analyze, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, financial and operational control processes, offer recommendations to improve operations and assist clients with enterprise risk and compliance activities.

- Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) services assist organizations in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with external business relationships. Our services focus on improving confidence in organizations- Third party relationships and include assisting with the validation of information exchanged between organizations and their customers, vendors, and Third-party service providers. Deloitte's TPRM services also help organizations improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their contract compliance monitoring processes and controls resulting in improved business performance.

Mergers & Acquisitions Transaction Services (MATS) - Mergers & Acquisitions Transaction Services team provides Financial due diligence (- FDD- ) services to the Client, both Private Equity clients as well as Strategic Investors, which entails comprehensive financial review of the target with the goal of providing a complete picture of its financial position and sustainable cash flows, highlighting the value and risks of a transaction, and identifying issues for reflection in SPA and completion accounts.

General Expectations :

- Expert knowledge of GAAP - US GAAP and IFRS knowledge preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Microsoft Excel and strong modeling and financial valuation skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business writing aptitude.

- Eager to lead and grow.

- Being able to identify new business opportunities.

- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve unstructured problems.

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple engagements at once.

- Strong relationship building and networking abilities.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Willingness to work with different groups - FARS and M&A.

- Plan and manage due diligence engagements.

- Perform industry or company research as needed on engagements.

- Working closely with the On-site teams to discuss staffing and resource requirements for specific engagements.

- Discuss and finalize the scope of work of the India team on the proposed engagement.

- Preparing and finalizing the information request list for proposed transaction based on the engagement letter with clients.

- Review, analyze and summarise the information provided by the company.

- Managing Financial Due Diligence engagements covering all major areas of focus.

- Analyzing the financial information provided.

- Reviewing and finalizing the financial models, schedule books, data books with information provided.

- Review and analyze historical financial and operating results of companies, explain business trends and identify risks.

- Preparing the due diligence report and presentation to clients to the extent agreed with the on-site engagement teams.

- Building trust and network with the onsite teams.

- Prepare the budgets and track the actual time against the time and cost budgets.

- Act as primary client contact for the duration of the due diligence process.

- Conduct on-site phone calls and interviews with the on-site engagement teams.

- Schedule and supervise the tasks and project assignments of senior analysts.

- Train and develop staff.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent / CA Required / US CPA or CFA a plus / MBA a plus
