- Our Analytic practice uses innovative tools to analyse vast amounts of data in order to proactively or reactively identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, risk mitigation and strategic advice for our clients. The group specialises in electronic data sourcing, optimisation, analysis, interpretation, prediction and modelling.

- Our Analytic team is seeking analysts who are passionate about using technology to solve business problems. Ideally you will be someone who displays initiative, lateral thinking and have a keen eye for problem solving.

Responsibilities :

- Problem solving critical client issues using technology to deliver valued results

- Balancing multiple projects and other responsibilities

- Loading, cleansing, transforming, verifying, graphing & visualising and testing client data

- Querying and mining large data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information

- Perform data audits, reconciliation and quality assurance duties.

- Project management understanding / experience and/or proven ability to deliver across a variety of teams

- Develops visually compelling presentations that communicate the relevant insights to stakeholders in an easily consumable manner

- Communicating effectively to all levels of management.

Qualifications :

Required Skills :

- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems.

- Ability to work within firm deadlines

- 4+ years of professional experience with at least 3-4 years of hands-on coding / programming experience

- Highly proficient skills in SQL programming.

- Beginner to intermediate level skills in one or more of: QlikView / Tableau

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

Good to have :

- For Analysis & Reporting - MS SQL (SSIS, SSRS)

- Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Deloitte and to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving team environment.

Education :

- Masters degree from a reputed institute in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar quantitative discipline.

It is important that you spend some time to understand Analytics as a domain and display keenness to work in this domain. Please note: this is not a Forensics, IT or Data Warehousing team.
