Manager - Community Involvement, Big 4  Job Description:  Manager – Community Involvement  Career Level 5 reporting to AVP  This position is responsible for end to end management of the strategic priorities and operations that oversees and drives the development of all planning and organizing efforts to implement the firm’s Community Involvement (CI) strategy, serving both local and national programs in the marketplace to help serve the community, engage talent , create a brand impact and position the firm as a market leader in CSR.  Role Specific:  - Manage the overall planning, execution and delivery of CI projects  - Partner with CI Advisory Council to track project status, manage and escalate project issues and risks as appropriate  - Oversees programs and efforts that promote positive corporate citizenship by broadly engaging Deloitte’s employees to support the CI mission through strategic leadership and volunteerism  - Serves as strategic advisor to senior leadership and represents the firm in the marketplace on CI matters.  - Ensure project milestones are met and determine mitigation if risk of not meeting milestones exist  - Provide project status reporting to RMP/OMP leadership  - Manage material preparation for project progress reporting to executives and involved in the progress presentation  - Manage the annual planning process along with the Advisory Council and leaders , which would include plan preparation (i.e. key activities, budget, and resource) and plan presentation  - Lead and facilitate project team meetings as required  - Ensures strong integration between CI, Internal Communications, Branding and Talent and align with the firm’s overall vision and strategy.  People Management:  - Manage and motivate teams through various stages of project planning and implementing through Strategy Initiatives  - Provide performance management feedback and capability development to project team members  - Lead and manage review of Initiatives’ /Requests to Member Firms  - Coach others in efficient project management and delivery processes  - Collaborate with team members from Communications, Change Management, Marketing, Knowledge Management, Learning and Methods and Tools Team to capture the status of projects and activities.  Knowledge Sharing / Documentation:  - Document and share project lessons learned  - Build and leverage networks and work closely with the relevant communities  - Change management tools and business processes wherever required  - Deliver timely project dashboards  The responsibilities listed here represent a core set of duties for this position.
