Advanced knowledge of SQL - MSBI, SQL Server

Good in data extraction, consolidation and warehousing

Good at automating the reports through Excel/VBA, SQL /Access

Good analytical skills, ability to provide data backed analysis

Proven record of dealing with large sets of data

Worked in the SC and/or operations domain of any analytics firm

Preliminary knowledge of SAS

Understands and applies principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field.

Develops and applies specialized knowledge within own discipline.

Deepens knowledge through exposure to new assignments and continuous learning.

Knowledge of related industry considerations.

Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools and procedures to accomplish job.

Assists program or process development and implementation.

Coordinates activities and processes.

Works closely with Procurement, IT and Finance for alignment of necessary reports, tools, initiatives and processes.

Work with Procurement teams to gather their Spend Analysis requirements, classifying certain categories of spend at a more granular level

Create repeatable processes for data extraction, classification, enhancement and analysis activities

Analyzes data and develops / publishes reports as necessary in support of the Procurement team.

Perform data mining to identify potential saving opportunities.

Benchmarks against other companies- Procurement Organizations and recommends best-in-class tools and processes that will advance the Procurement Organization towards World Class.

Continuously look for ways to improve how we work, manage data, with the end objective of efficiency and increased productivity.

Works closely with the General Procurement Team and PC Purchasing Managers to train them on tools and processes. .

Present, interpret, discuss or write about conclusions, inferences and results gained from analyzing data

Leverage the categorization knowledge of commodities from manual information to automated repeated & consistent categorization.

Data Analysis of spend and other data and create commodity wise reports

Come up with innovative solutions for difficult problems to improve business process productivity.

As directed, leads and/or facilitates sourcing excellence programs in support of the business.

Graduate degree (preferably BE / B.Tech) and 4 years relevant experience as a business analyst in Analytics / BI / Consulting role.
