About Decision Point

- Decision Point (www.decisionpoint.in) is a consumer analytics & big data consulting firm founded by IIT Madras Alumni, based out of Gurgaon.

- We work with leading Fortune 500 CPG and retail firms and help them institutionalize analytics across the entire organization to drive incremental revenue and profit.

- Our core area of expertise is in developing advanced analytics solutions in the CPG/Retail domain.

Role Background

- We are currently in the process of setting up a dedicated tech team to conceptualize, develop and deliver technology solutions in the intersection of big data technology and consumer analytics.

- This would include big data tech solutions (Hadoop / Machine Learning), consumer mobile applications (with big data focus), data visualization solutions etc.

- We are looking at a Technology lead (CTO/Tech Architect) who is passionate about creating IP in the space of big data technologies/ mobile, who can work hands-on across tech platforms (Hadoop/Java/PHP etc.) and most importantly not the least hesitant to constantly learn, experiment and evolve as we build products and solutions.

Responsibilities

- Complete ownership of the technology back-end of Decision Point

- Hands-on Leadership of product & solution development across big data/mobile

- Be part of the leadership team at Decision Point and take ownership of the technology roadmap for company's growth strategy

- Work with clients/partners/vendors to successfully deliver on big data tech solutions and product development

- Build a highly capable technology team as and when the technology scope expands

Expected Profile

- 2-8 years of hands on product development experience

- Passionate about big data technologies/ product development

- Ability to work independently to develop end to end technology solutions

- Prior experience with big data technologies not mandatory - if you have sound working knowledge of web/mobile application development and open to learning big data technologies quickly.

- Not mandatory, but preferred - Degree from a reputed engineering Institute (IIT, NIT, BITS)

- Not mandatory, but preferred - Prior start-up experience

- Salary: Would depend on experience levels and current market salary
